The impact of extreme weather events has cost more than €33Bn over the past 35 years. How to analyse their footprint on the customer portfolio and leverage this knowledge to manage efficient pricing that can cover the frequency and severity of extreme weather events going forwards are key issues for insurers, and firms seek extensive control over the impact on their current customer portfolio (pricing), new product launches and customer acquisition strategies.

The data associated with a point is transformed into a grid model covering all the studied territory by means of complex analytical models. In addition, once the data is available, we can perform a prediction horizon.
