Caser is an insurance group that was established over 75 years ago to provide value products and excellent services.
In 1942 it started providing coverage to the Farmers’ Association. Products were then gradually incorporated for individuals and companies, and it grew into a multi-branch insurance group and service specialist.
Caser strives to ensure a detailed understanding of customers’ needs and address them with innovative insurance policies. To do so, they employ a large team of people in addition to the collaboration and support of specialist distribution networks.
Renew or die
Following the crash of savings banks, Caser’s main sales channel until that time, it had to find an urgent way of reinventing itself and making the online sales channels more important. Caser’s main digital asset is its public website caser.es, which was fully redesigned and its architecture changed. To address this change, they opted for a change in the way things are done and incorporated the agile philosophy into their caser.es product.
Remote scrum team
Babel formed an experienced scrum team, supported by a powerful DTP team. With the great challenge of proving that scrum principles can be implemented and applied with people working remotely. BABEL has since assisted Caser on its path to adopting agilism, not only in projects but also as a relationship model.
Many colleagues and even several scrum masters have come and gone over this time, but thanks to a deep-rooted culture, these people have provided knowledge and a mature core that continues to ensure the acquisition and implementation of good methodological practices. This boosts Caser’s main digital asset, increasing the number of visits and the number of online purchases.

The partnership between Caser and Babel is now over five years old
with many colleagues and even various scrum masters who have come and gone, but thanks to a deep-rooted culture, these people have provided nothing but positive things. In particular, Caser has been able to ensure the growth of its main digital asset in terms of number of visits, and increase the number of online purchases.
